About Keele Medical

Keele Medical started at the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020 to help establish covid testing routes for the populations that needed it most. As the company expanded within the diagnostic testing industry, we sought out innovative devices that could better our healthcare system. This led our CEO to an introduction with Dr. Raouf Guirguis, a serial inventor and scientist renowned world-wide for his past inventions. They shared the same vision on some of the current problems healthcare faces and they decided to join forces; an experienced and well credentialed scientist/inventor and an energetic young entrepreneur. Working together, we believe we have tools that will reshape diagnostic testing as a whole in the coming years- making diagnostic healthcare more accessible and affordable throughout the world.

Dr. Guirguis

Chief Science Officer

Bio

Inventor of the EZ Saliva product line. Owns of over 220 patents including the tiger top blood draw smart vacutainer. Dr. Guirguis has has served as Pathology Fellow, National Cancer Institute, NIH, and was a Georgetown University Scholar. He also holds an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. After completing his fellowship training at the NCI Dr. Guirguis has founded or Co-Founded Five R&D and Diagnostic Kit Manufacturing Companies in the field of Rapid Diagnostics. All of Dr. Guirguis companies were initially established on his own inventions or technologies in medical instruments, rapid diagnostics kits, environmental testing, and sample collection and identification.

Nathan Keele

Chief Executive Officer

Bio

Founder of Keele Medical and co-founder of Vanguard Laboratories, Nathan is a healthcare innovator and serial entrepreneur aimed to improve healthcare across America. During the pandemic he jumped into the medical field with no previous background, with the initial vision to create jobs while helping market medical supplies to the elderly. The company quickly grew to over 150+ independent contractors within 6 months of starting.

After experiencing disappointing results with untrustworthy laboratories, Nathan co-started a clinical laboratory in Salt Lake City, Utah, that finalized the research needed to bring about the first iteration of the EZ Saliva test to market.

Following his successful completion of an intensive Lean Startup
course, Nathan continues to work on improving himself as a better leader and businessman. He has been featured on The Top 100 magazine, Fox News, ABC 123, TechBuzz News, and more.

Julie Moon

Vice President of Operations

Bio

Julie Moon, with over three decades of experience in client relations and operations, is a dedicated and experienced leader at our company. Prior to joining our team, Julie’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to successfully own and manage her own business for 14 years. In her current role as VP of Operations, Julie is responsible for overseeing our account managers and operations generally, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and retention. She also orchestrates the operational workflow of our e-commerce systems and internal operating systems and supervises the training and onboarding of new clients. Julie’s remarkable ability to execute operational workflows with precision and her exceptional communication skills make her an invaluable asset to our team. Her kind and personable nature, coupled with her caring approach, reflects her commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients and achieving operational excellence.

Lt. Ryan Porter

Chief Law Enforcement Officer

Bio

Ryan Porter is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over 32 years of dedicated service. Throughout his distinguished career, he has garnered extensive in specialized areas such as narcotics enforcement, leadership, and police motors. He has trained hundreds of officers across the west coast.

With a proven track record of upholding the law and ensuring public safety, Ryan Porter is recognized for his unwavering commitment to serving and protecting his community. He is now overseeing the hiring, training, and management of our law enforcement state representatives that are bringing our EZ Saliva kits to officers near you.

Mike Isom

Chief Laboratory Officer

Bio

With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah and extensive experience in post-acute care, he is a recognized expert in managed care and case management. Since 2016, he has been a Clinical Consultant specializing in toxicology education, providing crucial insights on lab results, compliance, and medication adherence to clients in substance abuse centers and medical programs. His expertise has led to court testimony and training across seven states, strengthening his influence in the field.

As a member of the National Association of Drug Court Professionals (NADCP), he is being considered for an associate faculty role. His “Toxicology 101” training is under review for IACET accreditation. Additionally, he holds three patents in medication management and data aggregation and produced “Above Ground,” a short film on addiction and mental health featured in film festivals nationwide.

Alex Garcia

Senior Marketing Strategist

Bio

Alex serves as the Senior Marketing Strategist at Keele Medical, where he oversees comprehensive brand development, advertising initiatives, social media strategy, and the creation of internal and external communications. Working closely with software designers, he leads an innovative marketing department focused on driving sales through creative and effective campaigns. With over a decade of marketing and communications experience at both director and executive levels, Alex brings extensive expertise in strategic communication, relationship building, and brand development. He has been instrumental in establishing and expanding the company’s brand presence and market outreach since its inception.
